BARUNAWATI BLUE FOUNDATION TEACHER SURABAYA PARTICIPATE IN LEARNING MEDIA TRAINING

Saturday, December 23, 2023, Kindergarten, elementary, junior high, high school, and vocational school teachers at Yayasan Barunawati Biru Surabaya (YBBS) attended training on the creation and use of learning media. The type of learning media being trained is learning videos. The training activities began with a report from the Director of YBBS Education, Mrs. Dra. Atiek Istijarti, M.Pd, who said that to improve the quality of the learning process and results, teachers must be professional in the sense of mastering the subject matter and skilled in designing, implementing, and evaluating learning. One important component in learning is the teacher's ability to create and use learning.
The learning training was opened by YBBS Chairman Iwan Sabatini. In order to improve the competence of Human Resources (HR) in Barunawati Surabaya schools, Yayasan Barunawati Biru Surabaya conducted Learning Media Making Training activities for teachers ranging from kindergarten to SMK Barunawati Surabaya, said Iwan Sabatini. The presentation of training materials was initiated by Prof. Dr. Mustaji, M.Pd who presented about learning media needs analysis, design, development, application, and assessment of learning media. To use learning media, a choice of various learning models is given, including project-based learning, problem-based learning, collaborative learning, cooperative learning, case-based learning, inquiry learning in a blended learning environment.
The practice of making learning video media, participants were divided into 3 groups, namely kindergarten and elementary school teachers, high school and vocational school teachers, and vocational school teachers. This grouping is important so that the media developed is relevant to student learning characteristics, the development of information and communication technology, learning objectives and characteristics of the subject matter. Unesa lecturers who facilitate practice in each group Dr. Fajar Arianto, M.Pd, Dr. Utari Dewi, M.Pd, and Citra Fitri Cholida, M.Pd.
